This was my thought process good at when I bought my first welder:
I am not very good at welding. I need practice. Do I want to be fiddling with a subpar machine at the same time as learning the craft?
And then got my Hobart. It's been a dream. Pick a Miller, Lincoln or Hobart and move on.
