I fell across this gem today:

http://dcrx7.com/grm.html

An oooold GRM article on making a 1st Gen RX-7 compete with a 3rd. Now that the aftermarket is good for SA/FB's, it might be worth a re-try? Please?

I'd read that. It would force me to finally pick up one of the many sub-$500 1st gens that pop up around here all the time, I've been looking for an excuse.

And do the pictures in color this time!

Maybe build 2, a rotary one and a V8 one? Please?

I still have at least one issue with that series in it.

I was a real old skool subscriber, and had an '83 gsl at the time.

College and beer took me out of the car scene for too long, and I didn't reup until '05 maybe

Well, if they can't do it, one of you could do it, write up the process, take pictures and submit the article to GRM. You may even get it published!

For what it's worth, we do have some first-gen RX-7 editorial in the works.
