Man!

That car is beautiful in everyway!

Where on earth do you find rust free X1/9's??

I really like the idea of using a scrap engine bay for mock up.

Such a simple idea but not something that had crossed my mind.

The West Coast of the US. Though even those will have some rust on them, but as long as you don't mind keeping on top of it they'll survive just fine. The later Bertone produced cars are better from a rust-resistance standpoint, but tend to be slightly heavier but that isn't hard to fix with some elbow grease.

I think their "sub-6-second" 0-60 time estimates are a wee bit conservative.

That K20 can put out 240hp at the fly by just breathing on them. That car weighs what--1900lbs???

I'm guessing it'll pull low 13's in the 1/4, no doubt.

I know the big meats out back are functional Asthetics-wise, radiusing the fender, flaring the rear going w/ a bigger wheel and lowering it more would look better (albeit it would be a major PITA).

This is all stuff I'd never have the intestinal fortitude to try. Gorgeous car, killer build. I'd love to see/hear it run.

F-body parts find there way into everything.

That looks great

In reply to emodspitfire:

California. It never rains here. The only rust on mine was non-weather related---a leaking battery got to the battery tray.
