I already see I missed some of the obligatory items. I'll do better next year!
In other news, I came home from work today to find a flat rate box on the front porch from the beautiful state of Ohio. Tee hee!

I received a cool little Gerber box cutter and an 850lb Eibach spring from SC. I'm not sure what I'll ever use an 850lb spring for.

You're welcome! The spring was for a rear mono-shock on a motorcycle I no longer own. Hope the razor knife is more useful...
Looking at the other folks boxes you got shortchanged. I should have found more random stuff to put in that box...

Well now I know who got me so thanks!
Sorry that I'm a bit late to my fellow GRM'er for a Christmas delivery :( It's getting dropped off at the post office today and should be there by Thursday. I hope you like it!
Ok, here we go!
Right on top in the box was a Cooper Tire tooshie cushion:
Next I saw what looked like jam jars- but the other goodies first...
Cat treats, a glasses repair kit, a Cooper tire squishy tire, poo!, a gate hook kit, a tape measure and some cutoff wheels. Super cool! The tape measure looks like it has some good mojo on it too- it will be my go to from now on. Maybe I'll be able to build something that works now- lol! And now I can use the angle grinder I bought and neglected to get wheels for.
So, jam jars. Hmmm...
After opening two of them I realized the lids were neatly marked with their contents:
Then the last one I opened was empty, but maybe the coolest one:
The jars will be made into some type of storage system and kept in my garage. Very, very cool gift!
So I have no idea who my Secret Santa was. I had to look the town up on a map. The nearest bigger city looked to be Bowling Green (town name withheld because secret!).
Thank you for the fun gifts!
Delivered a box this morning and mine came a couple of days ago. I will get pics up over the weekend.

I recognize your sender (not me) and he seems to have done incredibly well!
Best so far.

You're welcome. I'm glad that you liked everything.
I'm also impressed that you got those sticky notes out of the jar. I didn't think they would come out very easily.
And that was my intent with the jars. I've already made myself a storage shelf with some of them. Let me know if you want any more. I have literally dozens more in the garage.
A package has arrived!
I share the news with Mrs. ShawneeCreek and I'm told not to open it until she gets home...in 6 hours.
In the mean time, I shall have the box inspected...
Lots of duct tape to hold things together, but the box only weighs 8 pounds...
Makes rattling noises when shaken...
5 hours, 58 minutes remaining...

Hey, that sounds like a familiar address!
Mine went out today. Should have used a bigger box!

It was a lot of fun to open!
Lol- the sticky notes required needle nose pliers to get out. They sure go back in easily though!
If you have jars that need a home, I would be happy to give them one
Just sent it off to PA. Should be there by Wednesday. Sorry I was late getting it out the truck died and had to spend a couple of days working on it.
Happy New Years Game!!!
I'm a little nervous. Tracking shows my package was delivered yesterday but I've heard nothing...
I hope my guy isn't unhappy. I thought my gift rocked...

I wouldn't worry too much yet. Could be traveling, working, who knows. On a related note - I'll be out of town next week when my package will arrive, but I will post when I get home!

Same thing here. My package got delivered two days ago, but no word on here. But I got one of the GRM Staff, so I hope it doesn't suck.
Got my box today! Thanks Wally! I've got pics and will post as soon as I'm not on mobile. Great stuff!
I came home today to a box on my porch from a local GRMer.
Fuel filter, firecrackers, cell phone case and a lightswitch (I needed that)!
Porsche and BMW hotwheels, an awesome snap ring tool, thermostat, SAAB switches for my 900, USB cigarette lighter adapter, phillips bits (can never have too many of those), a Guinness bottle opener, small screwdriver, blipshift post-its(?) and a mousepad.
And some cool racing pictures, some even autographed.
Thanks RustedBustedSpit!
Just picked this up from the post office
I've got a pretty good idea of where this came from, in spite of the sender's use of an obvious alias. Even better, I see my giftee has also received his package today.
I opened the tube first and found a couple of posters inside - Shelby Moostangs and Pebble Beach Concours. Sweet, I need some more garage art!
Now onto the box. After much struggle removing the many layers of packing tape, I was left with this:
Taking inventory: one large coolant overflow reservoir, hood pins (these really got me excited for some reason lol), a weld in bunghole, a foam brush, two bolts with lock washers, assorted fluorescent zip ties, several feet of clear tubing, a towlie thing, and a small baggie containing a pair of pages gloves and a purple plastic spider.
Now I've gotta get myself a racecar to go with those hood pins. Not quite sure what to do with the spider , though though I'm sure the rest of the stuff will find a use. Thanks a bunch Adrian! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
