Does anyone know of a place that I can download (without a virus) a 3D model of a human? I am running around like a chicken with its head cut off and I need a model soon or else I would make a very basic model.

How detailed / moveable does it need to be? The Google SketchUp warehouse has a boatload of them in various poses.

An excellent source for Solidworks models is www.3dcontentcentral.com. It's free to register and download files and is run by the company that makes Solidworks. There are several human models.
The simple standing one I used for work is here: http://www.3dcontentcentral.com/download-model.aspx?catalogid=171&id=86093 The seated one I'm using for my racing sim cockpit design is here: http://www.3dcontentcentral.com/download-model.aspx?catalogid=171&id=12347 They are all user submitted so I always check some measurements, but everything I've downloaded has been very good.
