Wow. I thought it was nice that my dirty smelly grunty semi Neanderthal contribution to society was finally recognized by a member of the (pick your favorite pejorative) opposite/fairer/weaker/stronger sex and damn it turned out I was being insulted.

I think mine are under the sink. I'd ask the wife but Downton Abbey is on

Dude. Two groups: I'm a man, and even if I'm dead wrong I'm definitely not supporting the group that I aren't.... Reading is fundamental...
the group you aren't a part of is the one where men that aren't looking for something to be offended about hang out.
the article wasn't intended to be read by men- well, other than the potential "going viral" thing and the associated page views it brings... it was intended to be read by women that look past everything men do to make modern life possible and just whine about how women are constantly oppressed by humans born with boy parts instead of girl parts. i'm sure if you wanted to put in the effort (a few words in a google search box, followed by clicking on a couple of links) you could find other articles written by feminist that talk about the virtues of women in society without ever mentioning men at all..
In before the lock.
And I for one, believe with my whole heart that men and women are totally equal, except in the ways they are not. But what do I know? My entire sex education was quoted in a Kindergarten Cop scene.

Hahahaha! Nice!!
And if you ask my wife, yes it is totally possible I have a brain tumor. One that makes me buy cars on a whim.
A truly healthy feminist belief doesn't need to disparage men, or make them the scapegoat for every woe. I know women who are always sounding off about men (and vice versa). I love men. I also consider them my equal.
In reply to Lesley:
No need for self deprecation. Many of the people here envy your automotive lifestyle. I'm one of them.
