Yep. Company holiday tomorrow and taking time off for Th and Fr so I get a five-day mini-vacation. My girlfriend's company basically shuts down from the 24th through the 1st, and I'm a little jealous of that...

Knowing my boss, he'd probably tell us to go home early today if he were in, but he was smart enough to take today off, so I guess I'm stuck

I may or may not work Friday. If I do it will be the dreaded paperwork. I might put it off till Monday.

Was going to go to the office but for some reason found things to do at the home office and well since it is noon now I don't think going to the office is going to happen.

Tried to pick up a shift today, was denied by management.
I'll try again on Thursday, the warehouse is closed tomorrow.

Working overnight the next 4 days. Perks of the sweet ER resident life!

Been working 2-3 weeks inna row since Sept., just finished up 15 days. Was looking forward to Christmas week off... but no, only three days off before the grind starts again.

I'm beat, slept 15 hours last night.

Yep. Pretty slow at my shop, but unfortunately I have a 12 hour job in my bay. So no good excuse to leave early to make my hour long journey to the family festivities. I'm sure the rest of the staff will run out of work early enough to kick me out.
