Two burning man tickets and a vehicle pass for sale. $900 (EDIT: Now $700, see below) for GRM'ers (~50% off the original price). Our camp ordered too many this year.
Happy to provide support/orientation on the Playa for any first timers.
Had no idea it was that expensive. Its on my bucket list still though!
Perhaps not for me, but I can give you a bump in case anyone interested missed your post.
Never been and would love to go. But not in the cards this year. :(
Price drop-now $700 for GRM dorks! Happy to provide guidance and some support ahead of time and on-site as well.

It's like auto racing-you can spend virtually nothing and have the same amount of fun as somebody spending millions.
It's got great car culture too!
The gate volunteers use this as an interceptor to hunt down hippies that stumble past the trash fence at night:
Fire cars are everywhere at night. "Safety third" is a good way to describe them:
Always some nice looking classics too:
Man, 3 years ago I'd be on this, now with a tiny family, not able to get away.
Hopefully someone picks them up and has a great time!.
Did someone say car culture?
Damn I wish that I could get away!
Or you could go to Pahrump and get a whole lot weirder for only $49 a night at the Nugget Hotel and Casino. Tour Art Bell's old double wide, get abducted by a UFO, take the aliens out for a night at one of their legal cat houses and then rent a Corvette at the Spring Mountain Driving School the next Day.
Pahrump is Burning Man for poor people.
Sold! To everybody with this on their bucket list, don't forget-it'll be better last year.
$1400 for burning man? I guess it keeps the riff-raff out.

Wait...
They make you pay to go smell stale weed, patchouli and b/o with a bonfire at the end?
In reply to ShawnG :
We're all just annoyed we didn't come up with the original idea

I missed out in selling water in bottles, now this...
They basically build a city in the desert then get it completely gone when done. Coupled with the safety costs the ticket seems more than reasonable.

Dang, my bff is going this year, but we happened to pick our vacation to the East coast the exact same week. Oh well
I do love me some burning man, but about 10 years ago the originators of the festival decided that it was becoming too much about the opposite of burning "the man" and more about sponsorships and commercial profits... the kinda opposite of the reason they started it.
Since then, they have done Envision Festival in Costa Rica since about 2013. berkeleying EPIC.
Don't get me wrong, Burning Man is an amazing festival for the attendees, and I love it, but Envision is just next level stuff.
