I'll be spending a week in the Dallas area visiting my in-laws with the family.
Since that's more than enough time to spend with my inlaws, I wouldn't mind some exploring (away from them... ha).
Any old school junkyards that let you explore or good pick N pull that a rustbelt northerner might have some fun poking around?
Any good car guy attractions worth checking out?
Any events going on or cruise nights the weekend of April 12/13, etc.?
Thanks!

Check out CTC Auto Ranch in Denton. www.ctcautoranch.com Don't know of any others. If the missus and in laws don't mind you skipping out on the 13th, the Texas region SCCA is holding an autocross at the bus lot at Texas Motor Speedway.
Look for me, I'll be in the Black and White MINI #14 DS. www.texasscca.org

Kennedale speedway runs imca mods, imca stock, imca so spt mod, street, factory, juniors, and 305 sprints pretty much every Saturday. I can't think of much in dallas, because well...it's dallas
Too bad there's not more Texas folk posting here..............

Back home in MI, but thanks for the heads up.
I made it out to the Montgomery Cars and Coffee meet up in Fort Worth and there was some nice stuff out.
