Damn you, M. Night Shyamalan

My wife says Wahlberg looks like me....no reason just had to raise my post count.

I like his movies but few of them are more than a 2 hour escape, of course that's all I want in a movie

I don't know. Have you tried doing any background checks? If you had, you might have noticed the new guy who you just put in charge of the task force living in a hyper-expensive suite that is far beyond the pay grade of a new officer.

I had really high hopes for Smokin' Aces.

I was damn near put to sleep.

Mark Wahlberg isn't the best actor ever to come on the silver screen (boogie nights, get it?) but he's not the worst. My favorite Marky Mark movie, however, hands down by far is 4 Brothers. That movie was GREAT.

My wife loved Shootem up, I liked it alright. I did like smokin aces.

Her favorite movie hands down is True Romance, we watch that alot.

I swore off MKS movies after seeing the Village, boy did that suck! I actually really liked signs, even though the Aliens desolved in water. The plausablity of any lifeform dieing after getting water on it, is horrible! I mean ask anyone versed in Science and they will tell you that water is the essencial element required for life, you can get away with radical temprature tolarances, lack of Oxygen, sunlight, etc but water is considered essencial. I mean did he not ever even watch the Discovery channel for christ sake?

A slimilar situation was in the movie/series Alien Nation where the Aliens desolved in Salt water. One thing about this I always wondered is that humans are primarily Salt water as in our bodys are made up primarily of it, our blood, sweat, semen etc. On the show they had the head cop dating an Alien, and my question was how do you get intimate with a human if Salt water acts like acid? I mean the alien would not be able to touch a sweaty human, and just think about what ejaculate would do to them!

I would also like to say that True Romance is one of the awesomest movies to contain a misleading title.

Smokin' Aces was kinda lame, and Shoot 'em Up nearly put me to sleep. Crank was a way better movie. It's humor was atleast funny to me, where Shoot 'em Up's jokes were just.... bad. Plus Amy Smart is hot, and getting to see her bent over in booty shorts is good.

For gratuitous shoot-em-ups, I'm going to have to list my favorites as: Lock Stock, Boodock Saints, and Leon the Professional.

I mean, what could be a better body count to fight than "EVERYBODY!!!!!11!!!1!"

I just wanted to add that in looking for the Smokin' Aces picture I ran across the fact that they are planning on making a prequel movie (may be straight to DVD I don't know) specifically focusing on the Tremor brothers (the wacky nazis shown on the previous page). I for one will be looking out for that one.

Why does everybody hate The Village? I thought it was a perfectly acceptable movie. Not earth-shattering, but a perfectly fine way to spend 90 minutes.

There is absolutely nothing misleading about the title "True Romance"

It is violent yes, but the whole point of the movie is the horrible cliche of two people who are in love who would LITERALLY do ANYTHING for each other, not just rub their shoulders at the end of a hard day.

Great freaking movie though!

Yeah he's not a great actor but he has his moments, and I "heart" Huckabee's was cool. I didn't like the Happenning, but I did like the Village. I also liked Signs. I have never seen 6th sense, and probably never will, no real reason, just missed it and I'm not looking.

Lady in the Water wasn't so hot, either.
