I only go out for two occasions a year anniversary and my birthday any other birthdays or "special days" I cook.

I had a picnic in the park with 7 different mothers (3 generations).

Calling mine tonight. Since I across the country from mine, factoring in time difference and the fact my sister that lives close usually takes mom out I try to call either the day before or the day after.

Nope. Took her out to dinner at a nice restuarant on Weds. She's usually very busy on Sundays with church and stuff, nor did we really want to deal with the crowds.
