I'm working on a little antique game table I picked up, and I'm going to have to repair the mahogany veneer in a few places, as well as replace the inlay (11mm/7/16") that runs an inch or two inside the perimeter (I'd repair it, but I don't think I'll be able to find a perfect match). Any good sources for this stuff?

I bought a sample pack of maybe 25 different woods.  Pieces were maybe 12" x 6" x 1/32-ish.  Got it from ebay.  Made a pickguard for a mandolin with 3 thicknesses glued together.  Came out better than I expected.  One of those projects that I have no business working on, but I'm a sucker for trying something new.

Yeah, I thought about doing that, but I discovered that I really only need mahogany once I got it cleaned up. The inlays are a whole different thing, as are the edging strips I realize I have to repair now as well.

I have zero experience with this sort of woodworking, but I got the table cheap, so I really have very little to lose using it as a learning tool.

Rockler used to have a bunch of that, I haven't ordered anything like that for several years though. High quality when I did.
