I'm starting a work from home job and I'll be wearing a headset/talking to customers all day via computer. The set I have work acceptably but due to my large noggin' they don't fit very well. Can anyone recommend a "all day" headset that's got decent quality and won't break the bank?

I've got this Audio Technica one and it generally works pretty well even for a full day: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01AYZZP5U
My only complaint is that because it's an over ear headset, it tends to put pressure on my glasses after several hours that make it a bit uncomfortable, but still bearable for 8h.
Headphones that are comfortable all day? Heck, I can't even wear pants for more than 8 hours at a time.

Start looking at gaming headsets. Not exactly cost effective, but I can tell you I can wear my Sennheiser set for a good long time.
My son has a Sennheiser set and he raves about them. Long gaming sessions with his friends are a non issue. Just checked with him and he confirms 8-12 hours no problem.

So we know who not to invite to the 4:30 Teams conference.

Telecommuting has many benefits.
I've got a pair of the Sony active noise canceling ones with Bluetooth and mic. I wear them around 7 hours or more a work day and I've gotten good feedback from my colleagues on the quality of the mic.
The noise canceling is top notch, they are all day comfortable and the battery life is enough for two days of use typically.
I got mine through Costco and they were about $20 less than anywhere else I could find them.

My company gave out free Platronics Blackwire 3200 headsets. I wear glasses and size small HJC helmet. Been using them for three months for 6-8 hours of calls all day. I like them, but I don't like being wired to my computer.
I haven't found a bluetooth headset with a physical mute button. What good is a bluetooth headset if I can't mute/unmute when I'm away from the computer? Sounds like a "hot mic" or "sorry I was talking on mute" incident waiting to happen.

My Plantronics bluetooth earpiece/mic is pretty awesome and it has a mute button. I requested a corded mic as a backup and went through 10 different steps and 4 departments and filled out 3 forms. For a $12 headset from a billion-dollar IT company! bureaucracy.

I've been using Sennheiser earbuds (corded, with a built-in mic) and have been finding them more comfortable than my more expensive Jabra headset for WFH.
Skull Candy Inked, $40 @ Target. Sound good, nothing on your head, works with a helmet, lasts 14+ hours easy. Has volume, mute, answer functions on the mic around your neck

I have a Plantronics Blackwire, too. At first I had one with just one earpiece, but I have one with two now and wouldn't go back to one. I can listen to music and it's easier to block out other sound while on calls (I used to have to shove an earbud into my other ear). The physical mute and volume buttons are awesome, but it also has a button to end calls, which is too easy to press.
The Cowin headset was the "best" low budget option on Amazon when I bought it. The microphone is terrible. Unusable for what I bought it for and what you want it for.

I had an old Logitech Webcam around, so I use that as my mic, and a pair of over-ear headphones separately. The nice thing about this is I never have to worry about the headset and where the mic is, I can also use any set of in-ear headphones I have around.
Just requires some spare USB ports, is all.
I have an antlion wireless microphone that attaches to any headphones via a magnetic base and it works really well. I know, not much help for headphones, but if you have a quality headphone you like without a mic, antlion makes a good solution.

This is what I needed too - over ear, bluetooth, boom mic, with a physical mute on the headset. I didn't find much, short of $300 Jabra units.
I did find one: Avantree DG59M. They are fairly comfortable, though with one pair of my eyeglasses I can only go an hour. Other pair they are fine. I get 50-60' of clear audo range. I have been told the mic quality reduces with distance. The physical mute seems to work with some software packages (circuit) but not others (cisco webex). This I don't understand, it must not be actually disconnecting the mic power but some kind of software gimmick.
I would have thought this was a sizeable market for WFH. I need both speakers over ear due to distractions & background noise. And need physical mic so I can walk around and still participate. Very few options.
