Landing is easy....it's the driving away afterwords that is hard to pull of.

Hey, the OP didn't specify anything about landing or driving, the picture just shows the flying bit. Let's not get too fussy here!
This might be the definitive "wheels-off" Cortina picture. Mostly because it's Jim Clark driving.
I rented a Mk II Cortina for a 1-hour race at BeaveRun a few years ago (after my Sprite lunched an engine in practice). The 1600 engine/trans was real nice and handling wasn't too bad. Steering (box) was a bit dead-feeling but not horrible.
Saw this picture on hooniverse the other day, it too is a vintage euro ford. And its position on the road is less than ideal.

It's like a slotcar, only in reverse. Got to figure out how to make those rear tires stay on the guide pin.

The car is right where he wants it to be! He's hooking the edge of the road to increase turn force!
I think the rally car is being driven by that kid from InitialD. I swear, he wins every race by hooking a wheel into the curb near the end of the course.

Dood! I was thinking the same thing last night!

"Driving with tires on fire." that made me chuckle.
That is like watching a drifting event except that time and track position is more important than style or how much smoke your tires make.

I bet those notes read something like: caution(!) don't cut
