I lost my best friend last night

It's with a heavy heart and tears in my eyes that I write this.  I lost my best friend last night.  My wife of 9 years passed away, Kendra.  She was 36 years old.  She brought the most joy I've had in my life, years that while up and down, I have no regrets.  She lost her battle with breast cancer.   She was diagnosed last September, made it through chemo, surgery and just finished radiation last week.  This was going to be on the up swing, things were going to finally get better before breast reconstruction next year.  She was going to beat this.

I'm not close to the GRM community, but you folk have been great to read how much caring, thought and compassion you have.  This felt like the best place to vent my tears.

So sorry to read this. She looks like a beautiful person. You're right, this is a kind and caring community. We'll do our best to help you through this.

I'm very sorry to read this. There are no suitable words. You are lucky to have had the time you did, and she is lucky to have had you to help her through it. Damn. :(
