Does Simple Green kill them or remove their trails?
It kills them dead on the spot, I've never had them come back afterwards but cant say for 100% sure as to whether it's because of trail removal or a lack of persistence on their part.
As volatile as that stuff is, I wouldn't be one bit surprised to learn it eliminated (or masked?) their scent.
We get ants in the kitchen every spring, especially after a good rain. First time I put Terro out I was terrorized. Ants as far as the eye can see accumulating on the kitchen counter soaking up the stuff. It took a lot of patience to not just wipe them all out there with the poison spray.
This thread reminds me of the Pink Panther joke.
Dead ant, dead ant, dead ant dead ant dead ant dead ant dead annnnt....dead dead dead ant.
Ha! Looks like Terro thought of that too...
I've got dead ants all over the floor in the areas where I put the traps. I guess that's better than live ones but jeez, it's a lot of ants. I'm going to vacuum them up and then mop the floor with Simple Green a few times.
That's a good old joke. Takes me back at least 35 years...
