All great ideas! Love them all. We will be going over them soon and picking our favorites.
Psteav, message me on facebook. I'll go over some details with you. Just tentative things that I don't want to promise yet.

I think you have a show name and a tag line.
"Welcome to the Horsepower Hour. The place where the rubber meets the radio"
LOL.
"Welcome to the Horsepower Hour. The place where the rubber meets the radio. Please don't tune out after the first hour."
One more bump for the afternoon crowd. Just trying to get as much input as possible. Thanks, guys. Love the ideas and I can see some of them being used. Some as catchphrases as mentioned above.
Rattle Can Racing
Welcome to Rattle Can "Insert sound effect of spray paint can being shaken" Racing, home of the fifty dollar supercharger - on today's show, we'll be...
Keep it local, make it funny?
"We're the Gateway Park Rejects, and here's what's happening in motorsport this week.."
And TypeQ's tagline (Where the rubber meets the radio) is absolutely brilliant!
The problem with using Horsepower in the name is their is already a horsepower TV, and we all know the issues with the word gearhead.
HeelToe is a good one though.
HeelToe sounds the best but it might be a little too obscure, a lot of people would have no idea what a "heeltoe" is.

I didn't think of it. Someone else suggested it as a show name on page one. I just suggested using it a tagline.
You guys really came through for me. You not only came up with names, but taglines. My partner and I will be talking about the ideas and making something work. We have a few weeks to put something together. Any more ideas, please do post them.
In the meantime, check out the website we will be piping through. www.talkstl.com. My favorite show is Thom & Jeff, which is not something to listen to with your kids. It's an adult program. Everyone is really great, though, so don't let them turn you down if you're not a fan of them.
I'll drop the word when we hit the air, I think you guys will enjoy the experience of listenig to the show. It will probably be more interactive than you think.
Thanks guys,
Sperlo

Hooptie wagon local racin' review. Big bucks, low bucks or no bucks, if it goes fast we like it.
The racer's resource radio. If I was as slow as you, I'd be listening to us.
