We will most likely see a challenge to it being illegal in SCOTUS in a year or so. Without DOMA, there really is no compelling legal reason why it should be illegal. The LGBT crowd seem to be the biggest opponents to it for some reason, possibly because the polygamists are using the exact same argument that succeeded in overturning DOMA. It is one of those "Beware of unintended consequences" moments people never think of, but I'm shocked at how quickly the "tolerance" crowd flipped their lids. It was funny watching the chaos for the 2 days before this Oregon crap took everyone back over.

What it looks like is that he was trying to get shot with his hands up. He charges out of the car with his hands up (which is pretty strange) then makes the gesture like he is going to pull something out of his waist, the puts his hands back up quickly, twice.

Might have worked better if there wasn't video of it.

On a funny note, at least his hands were up at least once.....that makes it more true than Mike Brown.

If I drove away from a traffic stop, tried to drive around a road block, and reached for my pocket, or even looked like I might be reaching, I'd expect to get shot. And I haven't even threatened anyone that I'll die before they arrest me.

It seems to be their MO that they expect this groundswelling of support of the masses and are oblivious to the fact that the large majority of people think they are cookoo for cocopuffs.

I still remember when they were going on about having some massive event here in DC with " Millions! " of people and claiming they were going to break down the gates of the whitehouse and drag obama out in the street and a bunch of nonsense. Was kinda concerned about being stuck in DC on that day and the metro impact of a bunch of loons. Literally only saw 2 guys that were obviously here for that on the metro and I dont think their march had more than 100 people.

And all that even contains is the same questions one might have....no definitive answers. We don't know when they fired, how many times, just the video.

For what it's worth, they did have something like this coming to them, but I am withholding judgement until facts are presented.....which far too many people fail to do in this day & age of instant gratification.
