Okay, guys: favorite podcasts?

Pro tip: If you load enough "This American Life" episodes on a jump drive, an 8-hour drive passes a lot more quickly and pleasantly. Plus, when you get to your destination, you kind of feel like you’d been asleep the whole trip and had a bunch of strange dreams about Ira Glass.

I also love "WTF With Marc Maron," especially the Maria Bamford episode.

Great topic, Sarah! I was recently introduced to Radio Lab by Alan Cesar, and I love it. Check it out, all you science and techie folks:

I listen to every episode of RadioLab, but sweet crap, Jad and Robert annoy me.

Jad: "And then...something kind of interesting happened."

Robert: "Wait, what? So you're saying something...interesting just...happened? Just like that?"

Jad: "Yep, it's true."

Sounds like the npr skit from SNL.

My friend Mark Schroy does a podcast called (I believe the final title is) The Hard Drive Garage that is available through iTunes [dodges flying tomatoes]. Basically he takes all the horrible car customizations we love to hate on here, and rips them MST3K-style.

I thought it was just me. And I can't stand Robert's little lisp.

Can I add "Planet Money" to the list? Pretty good stuff on how the financial system works (or doesn't). They hit the streets several years ago by doing a three part series on This American Life about the banking crisis and how it all went down. Freakin' riveting, and made just dumb enough for me to understand.

Haha. To me, Robert's voice sounds like what I think Santa Claus’s would if he were a public radio host.

Nice. I wish more people were aware of specific logical fallacies and heuristics.
