I don't know if this is delusional or not, but I found it amusing:
Not exactly "delusional", but funny:

1990 300Z 5 speed with 102,000 miles. Needs the 120,000 mile timing belt kit and water pump kit installed and a little TLC. Runs great. Water pump went out just the other day. Just don't have the funds to fix it. Can hear run but can't drive due to the over heating. Minor body damage, hood and passenger fender. Minor but noticeable. Can email pics just ask. $3,750 OBO.
The picture really makes this ad:
**DIESEL DATSUN MAXIMA - $875 (BRKV,OH )
**DATSUN SEDAN 6CYL, DIESEL MOTOR RUNS PERFECT FUEL SAVER BODY NEEDS A LITTLE PAINT TOUCH UP
Not sure delusional is the right word...useful, no, that's not the word...revealing, well no, not quite...
This one isn't delusional, but it is awesome:

Welp here she is, my 1991 geo tracker (SP Edition). The SP stands for Sex Panther because the front end looks like its winking at cha. The panther runs better than she looks. When I bought it the hood wouldnt stay down so I just gone did got some duct tape to try heldin er down real nice but when the tape got wet it didnt stick no more so I drilled a hole in the hood and now use a bolt and wing nut to latch it with (NASCAR STYLE, thats worth 1400 right there). The fender is handing off in the picture but I ripped it off to make er look nicer, I need it looking nicer for prom which is comin up here purty soon. BRAND NEW RADIATOR!!!!!!!!!! The front end damage is front a squral and the tree it was running up when I hit it. New front bumper made front a real nice rusty stop sign post type material. The KBB value is way above my asking price. To sweeten the deal ill added in some tools that came in handy, my duct tape, Gorrilla tape (for those hard to fix jobs), JB weld, a bungy cord (NOT more than one, dont get greedy!!). IF ya need me shoot me up an email. Thanks for looking?
Not delusional, but the title and text make my brain hurt:

If you were going to write a three-sentence(ish) ad for a Miata, would you really talk about how roomy it is?
"There are No problems with the car, its fun to drive... nice an smooth...and pretty quick. This thing has a ton of room in it. Cosmetically it is in very nice condition"
I want to kick this guy in the throat, then pull the seats out and use them as kindling to light his house on fire.

I think his "custom" steering wheel came off a spaceship from the future. It's certainly not from 1984.

I'm going to offer $1500. Because that's about what it's worth. Maybe i'll be able to hear him popping a blood vessel from here?

my first thought was that it was a typo, i just wasn't sure which zero was the extra one, ie $1,500 or $1,050 but certainly not $10,500.

CL Seller said: It has only 170,000 and has plenty of life left in it. I would trust this car to takeit anywhere. Now the down fall with this car is that it is not currently running. A few wks ago I ran it out of gas. It never crunk back. It turns over but seems to act like its no getting gas. I replaced the fuel pump (retails $400) and it stll didnt crank. I researched the problem and read several articles that says you must replace the fuel pump relay and possibly the Main Relay. These are $30 each. I really think this is the problem but I have decided to pass this car on to someone else. I dont want to put any money into it. MY LOSS IS YOUR GAIN!!! I will sale or trade this car. I am asking $2400 for the car as-is. I am looking for another car of equal value that is alittle better on gas. If you have somethig to offer, please call me
WTF??
