Black rifles at the local wally worlds are in stock and "reasonable." You can pick from 5 or more different ones from Colt and 3-4 other manufacturers. Non-22 ammo is starting to be available. 40 is pretty common, some 9 and occasionally 380, but in premium "defense" loads at a high price. As for the 22's, I saw some a month or two ago. Bulk 525 box, 3 box limit at like $20+-ish a box, if I recall.

The problem has been finding primers, I cannot find any large pistol primers for a reasonable price.

I have all of the components to reload over 2k rds of 5.56(a caliber I don't own), and enough brass, powder, and bullets to reload nearly 1000rds of .45 colt(just lacking primers)

When I was buying a new riot shotgun at Dunham's (they had like 7 in stock, towards the end of a sale, surprisingly) the other day, I witnessed a man buy two bricks of .22LR, the last two in the store besides match ammo. Its the first time I've seen it in recent memory.

12 gauge ammo is still spotty, I bough the last 100rd federal fun pack on the shelf from sprawlmart(to break in said riot gun), the popular slug loads are hit and miss at best, and buckshot besides basic 00 loads are difficult to find locally.

We're still stocking about 10% of our overall ammo sku's... It's better than the 5% it was last year but still nowhere near "normal"...

I wandered into the loccal Academy Sports the other day and they had everything on the shelves you could want...except. 22 rimfire. They may keep that behind the counter, but they did have a sign that said you could onlybuy two boxes of .22 at a time. Plenty of handguns and long rifles on display too, but they didn't have the Ruger 1911 I wanted so badly before the meltdown.
