SPAM!

Sounds like it has more to do with the quality of the ingredients, perhaps due to lack of funds, than it was the actual food itself. I have a few hangups for the same reason, though spam is not one of them. I love some spam.

I remember the days of chopped spam (cooked in a pan off course) then mixed with ramen noodles...mmm

I lived with my grandparents. Grandpa was in the Navy in WWII. Navy fed them Spam. Grandpa loved Spam. Spam was a frequent addition to meals.

Spam can be made delicious.
