How bad ass would this be with an Explorer 5.0 and a T5?

Come to popeye... I mean poppa...
I'll give him about $1000 less though.
In reply to N Sperlo:
I wonder if that is Popeye in the second picture on the right?
This is probably the worst place to ask people to convince you NOT to buy this

Why do you think I'm asking you and not my wife?

Here's his Reader's Rides entry for that car:

Greg let me ride along at an MSCC event a few years back. That car is lots of fun.

As many times as I've looked at that Fairmont wagon, this was the first time I noticed the aluminium roof rack.
Thanks, Joey. I contacted Greg. I'm also looking at a 97 with AWD, which means relocating the steering rack. It's in the way at the transmission tunnel.
No problem. You may also want to check out the TurboBrick forum for ideas.

[Edit: now, with added linky goodness]
Oh, the prancing moose sticker is mandatory equipment for this sort of project
The only problem I can see with this plan is the torque of the Ford mill twisting the rusty underbody of that old Volvo like Stretch Armstrong.

You go to hell! You go to hell and you die!
Just kidding. Sort of.

Nope, won't find the Curmudgeon disenabling you either. The worst part of my automotive ADD is that there's a similar one not far from chez Curmudgeon with green algae on the windshield.
Since the V70 AWD is looking to be the likely candidate, what kind of fun can I look forward to when replacing the steering rack and cross member with those from a RWD chassis? This is what has been on my mind and had me continuing to look for RWD options
