Check them both. They're short handed and likely to hold you up for longer than you'd expect for simple reasons just because of that lack of people.

I'd just buy a knife when I get to my destination instead of trying to take one on a plane in any way.
The smith and wesson knives are really good for the price, I bought both of mine for like 15 bucks each and one of them has been beaten to hell for the last 6 years or so and has held up great.
Buy cheapo utility knife and pack of serrated blades at LowesDepot after you land, use and mail it home if you like it that much..
