Man, wish I had a way to compete tomorrow. Have an Xbox down stairs, but no Live account and no game

mad skills in the paint house man, shoot me an add....switchblade762 on tgrm team page
Getting some practice in now. I'm practically having to relearn the whole track, the Mazda is slow enough in the straights my braking points are much later.
And, since there are no vote yet for last weeks livery, I nominate FGC since he's been the one reminding people to vote on it.
How many people are using wheels? Is it necessary? I found that once you go wheel, it's hard to go back, especially in simulation games.
I'm thinking I am going to pick up forza 4 and find one of the old XBOX360 1st gen feedback wheels to come play with. This sounds like too much fun!
I'm IN for tomorrow night. Still no headset...aside from the one that doesn't work. I'll just assume everything is a rolling start. If I berkeley something up, I'll just voluntarily and deliberately stick myself in last place. Don't wait on me!

Sweet work in the paint shop, man, and major respect for not trying to get in without a good connection. Hope to see you in the future.
Gotta admit, I won't see you in Rivals/Time Attack/etc. because "ghost cars" make me angry enough to destroy controllers. It's not you..it's me.

Sweet someone to race!!
In reply to Redline: FR sent.
In reply to friedgreencorrado: I know EXACTLY what you mean. Like when you get to that one Rival you just cant beat, and spend an hour trying.
With XBL back I have the incentive to work on painting again, something I have not spent a lot of time on since FM2 really. It was frustrating to get FM3 and not be able to import all my work on FM2, like starting over from scratch. Thank god they implemented the ability to import decal groups from FM3 into FM4.

I have been using the 1st gen MS "wireless" FFB wheel since it came out for Forza 2. Its way more fun than the controller once you get used to it IMO. Not worth using it unless you use something sturdy to clamp it to though.
Brought wireless unit to work to try to swap @ Wally World tonight. PRACTICE starts at 9PM, right? I might skip it and just do qualifying. Also, are you guys running ABS?
In reply to poopshovel:
A few of us are running without, but ABS is allowed. As are automatics. We just figured we'd get more folks to run with us if we didn't get hardcore on controls. About the only thing we do is turn off the traction controls and the "assisted" braking/steering. I don't know if the suggested line can be used, because I never use it anyway.
I've got everything else turned off. Don't know how the heck to modulate the brakes with a hand controller. I lock 'em up in every corner. Are you not using ABS? I also use the suggested line on tracks I'm totally unfamiliar with (not on the Bspec races, but on our dr0nken 3AM ones.)
Try using ABS since you don't have race brakes (where you can lower the braking power to compensate for touchy brake lockup)
I usually race with ABS off but 90% of my cars are tuned with the braking set at 80% or so.
alright, I am gonna try to join, if someone will start a room, I think I couldn't join because of TAZBUCK last week.
I'm going to drink a gallon of whiskey, jump in the Atlantic, swim to "Turtle Beach," blast hotwingwhiskeydiahrea all over that motherberkeleyer, and burn it to the ground. I ran through a berkeleying HAIL STORM, BACK to Walmart to return the wireless piece of E36 M3 that didn't work, in exchange for a corded piece of E36 M3 that requires a berkeleying OPTICAL CABLE INPUT on either my (apparently "older") xbox or 1 year old mack berkeleying daddy TV (also does not have optical cable port) in order for me to SOUND? Jesus christ. Still playing. Still won't be able to hear E36 M3. Sorry dudes.
I'll go pay $20 for the goddamned adaptor to make my hundred berkeleying dollar headphones work next wk.
Yikes. Was watching Top Gear with dinner and then looked down and it was 9:00
My first ever laps at Sebring in the Bspec car were at practice. This should be interesting...
good luck guys-i am in cane garden bay, tortola,BVI(brittish virgin island)...i will really miss racing with yall but it is really awsome here-so,good luck and see you next week!
In reply to failboat:
use a hand controller and i use 0 assists...i have learned to be gentile with the triggers and in forza4,you MUST use the clutch if you are gonna run in the front(jmo)....
