I pre-ordered this one over a year ago, and it finally showed up this week, so I'm giving it a spin. One of my favorite albums of the past 20 years.
My wife's new band, Parachutes, just released their first recorded single, with another to follow next month. They've been playing a bunch of local shows around Atlanta the past few months. She's the singer and I'm pretty proud of her

We got to see DBT twice, once with Shonna (The Big To-Do tour, I think) and once after she left (English Oceans?), and had a ball, but seeing Isbell live in Portland, with surprise cameo by Patterson Hood, was a once in a lifetime experience.
After hunting for a clean, original copy of this for years at a reasonable price, an antique mall in RI finally delivered.
Just in time for St. Patrick's Day, too!
Also, for Mr. Wallens (I didn't take a pic, but totally should have), they had an OG copy of the Repo Man Soundtrack on vinyl! It was too rich for my blood at $60 (and above what they go for on Discogs), but it was cool to see.
