I saw this posted on someone's FB page. But I don't know them so I figured I'd ask here.

Ford Prefect

As Jesse said, Ford Prefect 100E. Close to hen's teeth territory as an estate, too.

I was flailing a bit and feel like I failed both in not clarifing which Prefect, and also for failing to get in any Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy references...

Was this a Prefect or an Anglia?

I had a 59 2 dr sedan that was titled as an Anglia.....

I've seen them called Prefect, Anglia, and Thames.   Which is why I was noncommittal.

Anglia was the 2-door, Prefect the 4-door, and the Thames was a sedan delivery/van. Since this is a 2-door wagon, I'm guessing it would be an Anglia Estate.

I fouled up even worse than I thought. And in my flailing failed to note that I knew *roughly* what it was but didn't caveat my partial understanding.
