A three month-long surveillance results in finding three ounces of pot and one pill?

Crap i have three of the four things at my house right now as well.

I think I have 1/2 dozen Xanax, $650.00 in cash and a couple of slug chuckers.

I don't have any of them in my place.

Not that I'm saying it warranted a 3 month investigation at a big cost to the taxpayer or anything, but you guys do realize that 3+ ounces is a pretty freakin huge sack (presumably multiple sacks,) of weed right? I think Cousin Ron was talkin' grams in that bit, not ounces. Multiple ounces = intent to distribute = hard time.

Remember The "good old days" when you could buy an ounce "lid" for $15 - $20. and the dealer was you friend and if you didn't have cash on hand he would front you. Now, they will kill you for looking at them sideways.

one of my friends and some of his friends were renting a small house that had a lot of traffic in and out all the time. they only kept enough "stuff" around for their personal use, but the cops figured they had to be selling a lot of drugs, given the amount of traffic and the parties they had every friday and saturday night.

so the city, county, and some state agency all got together and knocked down their door- on a wednesday night at 11pm. no one was home, since they all worked night shift.

they found half a joint- but only after they totally ransacked the place and confiscated a bunch of stuff.

after that- despite having no charges pressed and gettign a half hearted "we're sorry" from the cops- they were evicted and lost their security deposit because of all the damage that the cops did during their brave little raid. about a year later, the house was torn down and a jiffy lube went up there.

Obviously lowlife scum. Who only has four handguns?

Aw heck...I only have 2 handguns...do the 4 shotguns and 2 .22 rifles count for anything?

I do have an ammo can full of 7.62 from the AK I used to have...that has to count for something right?

As for drugs, I do have quite the stash...
