I know we have a diverse readership... I have found that owning 8 kayaks is too much.
I have this vintage Hydra 13' racing kayak. It is the Ihurus model by Tom Johnson. It is meant to haul butt. No fishing. No relaxing., not a casual toy. One should probably be around 150 lb.
I'm willing to pass it on to GRM members for $150. It sits in Havana Florida.
OBTW, also selling:
Dagger Halifax 17' Touring sea kayak $300
White Star Limited 17' fiberglass canoe $150
Perception Sundance II 16' two person kayak. Good for duck hunting, hauling dogs and or children. $400
I built this canoe in the 70's. Very light. Yes its old, thus the price. Needs some repairs, or just do as I do and tape the places and paddle on. Based on a Minnesota Boundry Waters design. Very stable. $150
I might deliver for $.65 / mile.
Dagger Halifax 17'. Superior tracking touring Sea Kayak. I easily can maintain 7 mph. Its the machine for long distance paddling. $300 is a GRM price. A lot of plastic for the money.
In reply to Purple Frog :
Oooo, that Halifax is nice and a killer deal. Not something I need here in the desert, but when I lived near water I always wanted a fast sea kayak. I rented some 'glass Current Design boats a few times, they were lovely.
Might be easier than a bunch of PMs.
