I was there all weekend. Sure a few things were different, but overall it looked and felt like the Amelia we know and love.

In many ways, The Amelia was an all-new event. Not only did it carry new name, but it also ran under new management: Hagerty. Plus, Radwood and the Concours d’Lemons had their moments on the showfield on Saturday.

None of those things seemed to detract from the event, as organizers report that over 22,000 people attended The Amelia.
All those individuals came to see the 450 vehicles displayed at Cars & Community on Saturday as well as the 215 classics presented at the Sunday concours.
Of course, The Amelia wouldn’t be a true concours event without giving back. This year, some $200,000 was pledged to local charities, including Spina Bifida of Jacksonville, Community Hospice and Palliative Care, and local Shop with Cops programs.
The next concours event on the calendar is the Greenwich Concours d’Elegance set for June 3-5.
