Car Catcher: This 1964 Citroën 2CV Sahara 4x4 Has Two Engines

This 1964 Citroën 2CV Sahara 4x4 was produced as more of a means-to-an-end vehicle rather than as an exciting rally car. That purpose? To cover the rough desert terrain in Northern Africa, where four-wheel drive was needed along with a spare engine should the other break down. In total, Citroën built fewer than 700, so the Saharas tend to be one of the more valuable variants of the 2CV, with Hagerty valuing a No. 2 at $87,000. Find this 2CV on offer at Bonham's Zoute sale October 11.
