While a car like this 1971 Mercedes-Benz 280 SE 3.5 Cabriolet from RM Sotheby's is best known as a luxury cruiser, this example gets a nice upgrade in the handling department thanks to a rare, factory-optioned limited-slip differential.
That differential, of course, helps put down the power from the recently rebuilt 3.5-liter V8.
The outside of the car has been refinished in its original silver gray, and sports a new folding convertible top sourced from Germany.
On the inside, the interior is largely original, featuring preserved items such as a plush black leather upholstery, Behr air conditioning and zebrano wood trim.
