As the folks at Streetside Classics point out, Great Britain was not the only source for a good small roadster in the 1960s. They’re offering this extremely clean looking 1967 Datsun 1600 for $18,995. Sure, it may not exactly be top-down weather at the moment for most of our readers, but we always support the purchase of a good roadster. According to Hagerty, that price point is just about half way between #2 and #3 value for this particular car.

Back in the day, the 1600/2000 was viewed as aesthetically inferior to the MGB, but technically superior, both with good reason.
They looked dated even when they came out and time hasn't really changed that. Always liked the fairly rare version of the 2000 that cam with uprated cam and side draft Solex, and 150 bhp though.
