For that price, you could have over 1800 Mazda ND Miatas OR 872 Ford Mustang Dark Horses OR even 644 BMW M3 Competitions.
If given the choice, though, I'd probably pick the Ferrari.

Indeed, it’s a record, according to RM Sotheby’s. This 1962 Ferrari 330 LM / 250 GTO by Scaglietti sold for $51,705,000, to be exact. That makes it the most valuable Ferrari ever sold at auction, per the auction house.
The GTO had a lot going for it, besides being a Ferrari from the golden age of sports cars.
It's the only 1962 GTO Tipo raced by Scuderia Ferrari.
A racing heritage that includes the 1962 24 Hours of Le Mans and a runner-up finish in the 1962 Nürburgring 1000km.
A provenance that includes a chairman of the Ferrari Club of America.
Well cared for, with 38 years under the current ownership.
And for concours it presents well, including a Best of Show in the Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance.
All these factors, and then some, contributed to the record-breaking selling price.
For that price, you could have over 1800 Mazda ND Miatas OR 872 Ford Mustang Dark Horses OR even 644 BMW M3 Competitions.
If given the choice, though, I'd probably pick the Ferrari.
