Valtteri is certainly a character and among my favorite personalities on the F1 grid this year. I love how on-brand this is for him.
I'll certainly miss him on the grid next year.

Now, we’re not talking about regrowing the hair atop your head–I’m sure some of us would pay good money for that. But, how about a lock of hair from a famous driver? Let’s say a piece of the mullet from two-time Formula 1 World Championship runner-up Valtteri Bottas. Someone shelved out £4000, roughly $5000 USD, for a trading card containing his hair.
Topps created the collectible that also had a piece of Bottas’ race suit and his autograph. Memento Exclusives auctioned it on F1 Authentics. The good news is that the money went to a good cause: Movember. While many recognize it as a month that raises awareness for men’s health issues, such as mental health and prostate and testicular cancer, it’s also a nonprofit organization.
“Movember is a charity that is very close to my heart and I’m pleased we were able to raise £4k for it,” said Bottas in a press release. “I want to thank all those who bid for a piece of my mullet and supported this crucial cause in the name of men’s health. There are many ways to help and I’m glad we were able to come up with a creative way to contribute this amount.”
