What makes this 1955 Austin-Healey 100S particularly rare? Besides being one of only 50 said to have been built, it’s also believed to be the only example ever exported to Switzerland.
Built with racing in mind, the 100S used an aluminum body instead of steel, and made use of an upgraded version of 2660cc engine that’s rated for over 130 horsepower.
Finished in Old English White over Lobelia Blue with a blue and white interior, this 100S features period racing history, primarily hill climb events in and around Switzerland.
Find this 1955 Austin-Healey 100S available from RM Sotheby’s as part of its upcoming St. Moritz auction, with an expected selling price of 650,000-900,000 Swiss Franc (approximately $708,000-$980,000).
