There are much worse things in life.
I do have a few Hotwheels myself, but not any like that.

What kind of life did you Hot Wheels experience? You literally beat them with a hammer, right? (Hey, we did.)
Back then, they were simple toys for simple times–and simple adventures.
How far can we launch this Hot Wheels? Let’s find out.
Can a Hot Wheels swim in the ocean? Let’s find out.
What happens if you set a Hot Wheels on fire? And, well, you get the picture.
We still buy Hot Wheels–all these years later, they’re still so hard to resist–but back in the day, we treated them with little to no mercy. The fact that, one day, they could be collectible just didn’t enter our 8-year-old minds.
Where does today’s Hot Wheels market top out? According to some online sources, the Pink Rear Load Volkswagen Beach Bomb could bring in $150,000 to $175,000. Noted Hot Wheel collector Bruce Pascal owns one.
Why so much? Only two are believed to exist. Hot Wheels originally intended for the Volkswagen’s surfboards to hang out of the rear window.
It looked cool but there was a small problem: The weight balance caused the bus to tip backwards. (Wheelstander, anyone?)
The Bus was redesigned to carry the surfboards on its side.
I have two of these vans with surfboards. Both of them have the surfboards that mount on the sides. Womp Womp.
I believe the ’67 Camaro is now very desireble. I had one and believe it’s here somewhere: beaten with a hammer and spray bombed by yours truly.
Womp, womp, indeed.
I watched this episode of Pawn Stars where someone came with this hot wheel and I think asked for 150,000 for this.
I have a fairly large hot wheels collection and have sold a few in the 4 digit range but Bruce's collection is beyond anything else. I've met him a few times at conventions and he is a pretty interesting guy.
edit: also, the main reason it was redesigned is that it was to narrow to run through the track "revver". They added the side pods so the gears would speed it down the track evenly.
