It was a dream season for BRE’s John Morton: First in the SCCA’s small-bore Trans-Am series in his Datsun 510.
I was a huge Alfa fan - still am and remember the joy of the 1970 season and the heatbreak of 1971. well. I saw the Riverside race with my Dad. He was a BRE fan as he worked next to their shop by the airport. Even had his 510 tuned at their shop. Thanks for sharing - it brought back some great memories.
