How to prepare a Bugeye Sprite body for paint

Photography by Tim Suddard

More of the labor to make our Bugeye Sprite look good. Before paint, the entire car was wet sanded with 400- and then 600-grit sandpaper.

Once this step is done, the car moves into the paint booth where it’s washed down with Prep-Sol cleaning solvent or a similar product and then tacked and sealed so that painting can begin.
