The Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 was one of the most successful race cars of its time. In 1929, it won several grands prix, 24 hours of Spa-Francorchamps, and the Mille Miglia. This factory test car competed at the 1929 Mille Miglia.

Other than its involvement in the 1929 Mille Miglia, much of its pre-WWII history is unknown. It is known that it was factory-fitted with a 6C 2300 Pescara engine in 1936. After the war, its history picks up with a Romeo Paoli in Northeast Africa in 1951. It won an Eritrean hillclimb championship in 1954, some 25 years after it was built.

The Alfa Romeo retains most of its original coachwork. The engine underwent a rebuild in June 2020 and the car has had major service work done in 2022 and 2023.
