What makes a Porsche 911 even better? Less weight. That’s what this 1991 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Lightweight can boast of, as it’s the lightest 964-generation 911 ever produced.
Just how light? Try 1098 kilograms compared to over 1400 kilograms compared to the more pedestrian Carrera 4 (That’s roughly 2400 pounds versus over 3200 pounds). Porsche achieved this feat with aluminum body panels, Plexiglas fixed windows, an aluminum roll cage and a seam-welded unibody.
Porsche made only 22 of these lightweights, with this one showing only has 98 kilometers–or roughly 60 miles–on the clock.
Find this 1991 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Lightweight up for auction at Broad Arrow Auctions, with an estimated winning bid of $850,000-$1,050,000.
