What’s it like to compete in a once-in-a-lifetime more than once? Just ask this Mercedes-Benz 220S, a 3-time Carrera Panamericana competitor.
In place of the car’s original engine is a 3.6-liter AMG straight-six rated at approximately 330 horsepower.
Other upgrades to the 220S include a 5-speed Tremec gearbox, aluminum radiator, Brembo brakes, Bilstein shocks, OMP bucket seats with five-point harnesses and extra radiators for extra cooling for the motor oil, gearbox and differential.
