I remember driving by LaForza and asking myself if I'd want to work there - no. Too small, too odd, and too specific to succeed. Oh, it was interesting to see that one of the principals, David Hops, was also involved with Monster Motorsports that built Monster Miatas, and the two addresses were about half a mile from each other.

Considering that it is listed in DBeach, the home of GRM, I'll bet it is possible to get someone to look at it.
Not to speak for someone but this looks like the type of Tom would be interested in considering his Trooper fascination.
Those photos were actually shot in my Publix's parking lot. Send me an email if you're actually interested.
While driving home from work the other evening I saw a blue La Forza in a parking lot. It was parked kind of oddly, too. Hadn't seen one of those in a while, I thought to myself.
So what's the general DNA of one of these wee beasties?

From what I have read, the suspension, brakes, and axles are all Iveco medium duty truck parts, hence the wide 6 bolt hubs. Engine and trans are Ford 302 and AOD.

They share a platform with the IVCO 40 PM 10 (which is itself based on the IVECO Daily medium duty truck) with the Ford 5.0 (some got 351W and the last run got 6.0L GM engines) in the US and Alfa Busso V6, BMW diesel, or Fiat diesel in ROW.
In the US they have a Ford AOD and NP229 transfer case.

I'm thinking I really want a La Forza over a XJ or even Discovery. So maybe I'll buy a whatever cheap toad we can for now and purchase a nicer La Forza next year....
Other interesting toads with autotragic? I really want to tow 4 down.
I'm fully on board with you going down the rabbit hole, but before we loose you for good please report on your XJR experience. Thanjs

XJR has been great. Other than fuel/oil I've spent $244 on updated seals coming off the supercharger to fix a vac/boost leak. I spent the extra $ for the updated seals/mounting plates that don't fail.
XJR is comfortable and quick. Certainly not as engaging as my past cars, but quicker than anything else I've ever owned, despite being the heaviest car I've owned.
I've put about 10k on it since the last week of July.

You have to admire someone who has grown bored with the reliability of a Jaguar.

I appreciate the joke, but from what I can see post Nikasil cycle and once they fixed the plastic timing chain tensioner modern Jags seem to be as reliable as any other modern car and possibly better than some of the German stuff.

That's like saying your supermodel girlfriend isn't Bat-E36 M3 crazy enough.

OK dude, this has gone suspiciously quiet. What's the deal, have you gone down the rabbit hole or did you put down the crack pipe? I hope it's the former.

Neither. Search is still on for the right one in the right budget. Waiting on answers on one I found.

I assumed you found one and were stuck on a roadside somewhere.
So, what's the outcome. Did you get one?
Eagerly awaiting news with the anticipation of a train wreck aficionado by a busted rail.

Sadly, no. Ended up deciding to pull a 5th wheel - so... me being me, bought a 6.0 power stroke.
In reply to m4ff3w:
Bummer. Hope you're enjoying the 5th wheel

My brother once bought/ended up with a broken Toyota Crown which even 40yrs ago was obscure. Sold it, moved on, never missed it.
