My old college roomie/good friend went through a few of these starting right after college doing a 50 mile each way commute to his job for ~35 years till he retired. He would get ~300k miles out of one and go get another one.

I was looking at one on on CL a while back with similar thoughts, good thing it was sold before I got there. I like the 76-79 body the most my self. Must have two doors, or find a super rare hatchback. The concours model is fugly though...
