This was on the MSN a few days ago. They said he only drives it around the Vatican. When outside the Vatican, they make him ride in the bullet-proof 2013 M-B. I'm sure he grumbles about that being an excessive waste... I can't imagine anyone would assassinate him. His "approval rating" has to be higher than any leader in ages, regardless of religion.

There are a LOT of crazies out there who would like to kill him. Don't forget about JPII's attempted assassination. He made friends with the guy afterwards.
I too really like Pope Francis. I hope I'm wrong though when I say that I don't think he will be Pope for long. You don't shake up the established order like that w/o serious repercussions.

He's the Pope. What he says goes, there are no repercussions and the only way out is death or resignation. I do not see him resigning. While he is old, he is also in very good health.
