Hey there, my buddy has a Jag XK8 that needs paint and some rust repair. He went to a couple of shops in Vero, but they claimed they don't do rust repair anymore. Anyone know of a good body shop that can fix this rust and give the car a paint job? It's at the base of the cowl/ windshield. This is a driver not a show car.
send it to Minnesota. Everyone does rust repair up here. 
Many Minnesotans just sell/trade in before or at the first sign of rust. Next owners let nature take it's course or sell/trade when they think it is unsightly. After that, they become winter beaters/beaters w/heaters/leavers.
So that's a no? I've tried to talk him into just getting another one, it's not like he has a emotional investment in the car.
The area that is rusting is an integral part of the unibody/crush zones and not just sheet metal. LIABILITY ISSUES is probably why the shops said no.
