That is cool, but I still prefer our farm's blower......not only is it a foot wider, but its more awesome because its not actually a snow blower.
I'm proud that the guy is in Green Bay and has not put gold "G"s all over the thing.

while I approve of the use of the 302.. I have to wonder if an aircooled VW unit would not have been better?
a few years ago i worked at a small place that made those big snowblowers... they were selling the engineering mule that they used to design their PTO driven blowers for cheap- as in $300 and it could have been mine cheap... i had this idea of building a mount for my truck, and converting it from a PTO drive to a hydraulic motor like the skidsteer ones had and running a hydraulic pump on the PTO takeoff on the transmission in my truck. they were prepared to engineer the whole thing and build me the mounts for free as a feasibility study to see if it was worth attempting to sell such a beast..
but i didn't do it, and i regret it- a 108" wide 2 stage snowblower on the front of my pickup would have been badass- as long as the 307 under the hood made enough power to actually run the damn thing..
I used to plow snow with a blade. It is a hell of good time!, 4 wheels spinning, insane slip angles at 5 mph, and mind boggling on the fly seat of the pants physics guestimations for hours on end. I could do it for days. That thing is too easy. But if you run out of places to push snow, that thing would be the bomdigity
