My ultimate track car would be a new Boss 302.
Not because it's the fastest thing out there, but because it's just hard enough to survive a track day in nearly stock condition, but is still a blast to drive on the daily commute or out on some lonesome back roads.
I don't really have much of an interest in competing at this point either, so track cars are typically just "track day" cars for me. I also don't really see the point in driving 10/10ths and balling up machinery at what is supposed to be a fun day. 8-9/10ths is plenty, and you still have enough room and time on track to react to nearly any eventuality.
I'm with LopRacer here ... 100 hp CRX .. the reason I left HPDE for TT was I got tired of spending all my track time with my eyes in my mirror .. if I ever get tired of a-x'ing I'll probably find a way to put a B or K motor in the CRX ( or get a Civic and do the same thing )

Dwarf car. I've been eyeballing these for a while now, but I've never been near enough to get an idea how big/small they are. Is there a hope in hell that someone my size (6'4" without helmet, 200lbs) could get in one? They look like a hell of a lot of fun.
I saw a pic of a 6'5" 220+ guy who raced a baby grand which is smaller than the thunder roadsters also

I'm going to guess he'd go with a stick axle and a tube frame. Oh, and wide-fives.
