Hey all, I'm new to the forum. A little bit about myself. I used to autocross my foxbody about 8-10 years ago but got out of it due to lack of time mostly. I've still been into cars and still have the foxbody. I now have alittle less demanding job so hopefully I can get back into things. I also bought an 84 Eagle 4wd wagon about 2 years ago that used to be a project car for GRM. I've been thinking about entering the 2017 challenge just for laughs and see if I'd like to build a car for next years. Thanks for having me.

That's what it's all about!
I'm brand new, google led me because I've taken an interest in rallycross. I like old fords, nothing exciting. Nate.
Welcome Nate! Sounds like you've found the right place. Hope you enjoy it around here.
New to the forum, been reading the magazine off and one for quite a few years. Autocrossing for about 14 years, actually had the money for a couple years to get on track at VIR, NCCAR with NASA. Now I have the track car, 89 integra with a 94 japanese gsr motor. Mostly sits in the garage. Got a new car, 08 miata, which i hope leads me back to autocross. Tow vehicle is currently an 02 sequoia that just went over 200k miles.
Hi, call me pete. I'm from berkeley and I just bought a 92 answer, looking to go to my first autocross.
Technically, with few exceptions, we are all from berkeley.
Welcome Pete and Scoobs.

I must be one of the exceptions, because my parents didn't Berkeley.
Hi there. Not exactly new here (subscriber for 8-ish years, and peruser of the forums for 2 or 3). I am, however, quite unskilled, and at the age of 50 have decided that's enough of that.
Right now, I'm doing a lot of maintenance and upgrades on my '98 Subaru 2.5 GT wagon. I replaced the struts, and added springs successfully. My ordering and installing of a new steering rack hasn't gone as well... (I'll be adding a "Learn Me Stuff" post right after this)
The Radio Flyer:
(Before the new suspension, but to show the front end)
(And after suspension)

Welcome Crash Enburn! This is a good place to ask questions. Like the wagon.

I'm one of five, so pretty sure mine did more than a little.
It was a sad day when that light went on for me.

I landed here a couple of weeks ago or a bit more. just checking in on this thread. Not sure just what I was expecting, but a number of friends were here and said that I needed to be as well. So far, pretty darned good ! Varied interests and skill levels, nice grassroots feel with a good sized handful of Miatas and BMWs thrown in most likely just to make me feel bad that I can't afford them. The Classic Motorsports forum is a real treat, like an extra on-line magazine for free. Only disappointment, and nothing to do with GRM, being that I arrived just as Photobucket was killing all of the images so the various threads are more than annoying to read through and seem to be difficult to repair/rebuild. A whole lot missing without the visuals.
You definitely sound like "one of us," so another welcome to you, TTiaT. And we've got some plans cooking regarding the Photobucket debacle; stay tuned.

Hello- I'm Gus. Longtime reader and just recently started looking into the board. I have a long fascination with cars (like most of you). I have a Factory 5 and a 65 Mustang. While I love the Factory 5, I have more fun the Mustang. I've been slowly building my version of 1965 Ecoboost- good period suspension but while keeping the inline 6.
Anyway, I enjoy the posts (especially the guy building the Jalpa) so I'll be around!
Hey All. I'm new. Just signed up. Thought I signed up yesterday, but apparently I didn't do it right. So... Here I am. Bob in Ohio. Hello Hello Hello!
Second time typing all of this since I had no idea that i would have to wait 24 hours before saying hello in the news guys area. strange...
Welcome Bob AND Martha,If you LOVE cars, Straight or Strange, It's here. Tell Us about yourselves.
I have been lurking on the forum for about a decade, and reading the magazine for years. I enjoy pretty much anything with an engine or motor. I have been playing with cars since my hotwheel days. I have been tinkering with cars since I realized that my parents vw beetle had an engine at the perfect height for a 5 year old to reach, they quickly got a locking decklid. Growing up, my friends and tinkered with our cars, mostly domestic v8s that went straight. I eventually decided I like cars that can turn and stop. I have owned a ranger, mustangs, econoboxes, torino cobra, el camino, and I learned to drive in a gremlin.I once bought a someone else's unfinished dirt oval stock car project, and it was still unfinished when I ran out of time and money and sold it. My current fleet includes a 2002 acura cl-type s and a beige 2007 honda civic sedan. I am always showing my wife the variety of cars found on here, and she says you are my kinda people.
