A few months ago our financial advisor presented us with a bottle of "Acumen" Cabernet Sauvignon when Annie retired. So we popped the cork tonight (but of course after I'd had a couple Beefeater Martinis and a few glasses of Merlot at our local pub). The Acumen cab was quite nice. So we are sipping that now.

Happy New Year to all. Mrs Dx and I are leaving for vacation tomorrow which equates to getting up early for journey to airport. Going to collapse early before that ball drops. Hope you all stay safe tonight.
A beer and a glass of vodka and orange juice later and my 2017 is feeling much better than it was when I first dragged my ass out of bed.
